My guest today has a crazy idea I LOVE, to turn all dairy farms into animal sanctuaries!

Geraldine Starke and Refarm’d are committed to helping dairy farmers transition from animal milk to plant milk production.

Despite ALL the benefits to embracing plant foods and avoiding animal foods, a barrier in transitioning our broken food system is the perceived threat to the livelihoods of the farmers and rural communities dependent on animal farming.

Geraldine is working to solve this problem for dairy farmers and their communities.

I found this chat so inspiring. Perhaps you can relate to having a really BIG idea.

A DREAM super positive and impactful that gradually gets whittled away at by the No’s, the stumbling blocks, the unforeseen obstacles and the ever expanding money and time and energy. And yet, as far as I can see this big dream is NOT getting whittled away at!

Geraldine is stubborn in the best possible way. In perhaps a manner that you can only be when your venture – your vision – is about so much more than money or YOU.

And there’s a waiting list for dairy farmers looking to move away from animal agriculture to plant agriculture. You CAN help if you’re looking to invest or you’re a bright spark so far as equipment, logistics and all the moving parts in a mid size food production / distribution company that are tough to scale.
