Todays conversation is a change of pace that I trust will be both valuable and actionable.
In a time that feels uncertain and fearful. When so much feels beyond our control, Gratitude is something you can control and, gratitude is the antidote to fear.
You genuinely cannot experience both fear and gratitude at the same time. Try it.
I’d like you to think of something that makes you totally fearful.
Picture yourself in the midst of that fearful situation. What are you feeling? What is your self-talk like? Really imagine you are right there in that situation that truly makes you feel fearful.
And now, I’d like to to think of someone or something that you are truly grateful for. Someone or something that you are just so grateful to have as a part of your life. As you think about that person, or that thing, and exactly how you feel when you’re with them… Where has the fear gone?
It has disappeared right?
It is my huge pleasure to share with you this chat with author and mentor, Melanie Spears.
When Mel created the Gratitude Diary in 2009 she thought it was just going to be a hobby. Unexpectedly, it has become a Best Seller of 16,000 readers and growing with stockists in Australia, New Zealand, the UK, North America and Europe.

It works in my role as a personal trainer and yet, sometimes IN LIFE and in relationships a softer, gentler more patient and nurturing approach is best.
