Live Your Healthiest Life is a deliciously unique cookbook that shares the weight loss journeys of two people from different countries and cultures who have beautifully adapted their family recipes to whole-food, plant-exclusive recipes without added salt, oil, and sugar.
Shayda Soleymani lost 120 lbs. Gustavo Tolosa lost 70 lbs. They both found a firm friendship and a commitment to sharing how anyone can achieve a truly healthy version of themselves.
Shayda is passionate about helping others thrive on a whole food plant based diet, SOS free, having seen firsthand what it has done for herself, her family, and others. She is known for creating authentic oil-free Persian recipes as the creator of her YouTube channel and website, Healthy Cooking with Shayda.
Gustavo is a concert pianist and music professor with a Doctorate in Musical Arts from the Eastman School of Music, University of Rochester. He became a strong voice in the whole food plant-based community, helping people adopt a WFPB diet and has developed a successful and result-driven online program, “Gustavo’s 7-Day Reboot, ReSET & Detox Program,” that focuses on daily support, teaching participants how to make simple but delicious meals that make staying focused and on track a sustainable reality.
