Surely one of the most frustrating things about a situation that does not work out as you planned is when you realize you’re RE-learning a lesson you thought you’d learnt!
Whether it’s a lesson as inconsequential as: “When I buy ALL the peanut M&M’s on special to save for later I instead eat ALL the peanut M&M’s now.” Or perhaps it’s a lesson that inflicts more long term pain? Like my long held and apparently still clung to unhelpful habit of being waaaay too black and white. I used to be a bit of a dichotomous queen.
I thought All or Nothing. Love or Hate was a good thing.
A few painful lessons taught me I was wrong. Although the fact that todays AND Not Or encore episode is on my mind and timely advice to myself proves I need to do a bit of frustrating RE-learning!

These are 4 of my most valuable learnings. I’m grateful for them and I also welcome the opportunity to NOT experience all the embarrassing, painful and financially draining lessons first hand. Sometimes it’s a whole lot nicer to benefit from someone else’s experience right?
